We are a Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage on the border of Settle and Giggleswick close to the River Ribble in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
A delightful stone-built, terraced cottage situated in an enviable position, overlooking the River Ribble in the market town of Settle. With lovely views of the river and Giggleswick, this Settle cottage offers a welcoming base for a family wishing to explore this part of the Yorkshire Dales.
Our cottage: Sleeps up to 5 in 3 bedrooms, has off road parking and is non smoking. We are walking and cycle friendly.

Outside this Settle cottage, there is a communal lawned area to the front with benches, next to the river, which provides a great spot for relaxing with a good book or simply a place to watch the world go by.
Within walking distance of this Settle cottage are riverside walks, a number of pubs, serving fine ales and good food, a public swimming pool and a railway station.
We welcome walkers and can provide undercover storage for bicycles

A Yorkshire Dales Holiday Cottage 
Lovely house, well maintained, lovely location, short walk to town, ideal for a wedding we were attending at Falcon Manor. Cosy with views of the river to the front.
Super friendly and helpful host.
Had another lovely week with the kids at number 5. Weather was somewhat mixed but the property and beautiful surroundings made up for it. Mark, as usual, was a great host and we look forward to our next visit.
Another fantastic stay at 5 Ribble Terrace. This was our twelfth time on our walking holiday in the Dales. Settle is an ideal setting off point for walks in the area. From the cottage there is a marvelous view of the river where it is possible to see the visiting heron. The cottage is a home from home, clean and cosy and where one can have an assured good night’s sleep on comfortable beds. Our hosts Mark and Debbie are always helpful, accommodating and friendly. Next year already booked.
Stayed for a week from Ap 26th. Loved Settle , as always. Loved the area , as always. First time in this cottage and it was perfect.

We had a fabulous week in Settle with our Grandson last week (07/04/24 to 14/04/24). The house was perfect for our stay. It was exceptionally clean and in a great location with fabulous views over the River Ribble. It’s conveniently located for both Settle and Gigglewick centres and for some glorious walks.
Mark and Debbie were excellent hosts offering lots of advice and ensuring our stay was comfortable.
We highly recommend the cottage and the area in general. We hope to return soon.
As a family of 4, we have just spent a wonderful Easter weekend at the holiday cottage and it ticked every box. A really lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Just a short walk into Settle, we enjoyed some really nice walks straight from the front door as well as food and drink in the town itself. Mark was super helpful and we hope to return soon.
