  1. This was our third visit to 5 Ribble Terrace. As always there was a warm and friendly welcome, everything was spotlessly clean and obviously greatly cared for by the owner. Particularly enjoyed the real fire and huge comfortable bed. The house is warm and in a great position for walks straight from the door as well as further afield. The walk up Ingleborough is a must as is the one from Gordale Scar to Malham Cove. We will definitely be coming again as there is still lots more to explore in the area.

  2. We have just had our third stay at Ribble Terrace. Three generations together and we all love your house and Settle and its surroundings. We were lucky enough to be there over Halloween and our six year old Grandson enjoyed joining with the friendly locals with their trick or treating! We visited The Forbidden Corner (quite a car journey but well worth it). Also the White Scar Caves which were amazing. And something of a tradition – The waterfalls Walk at Ingleton. We have already booked for next year. Thank you for your lovely home from home.

  3. We booked this property for one month and found it to be the best rental we have ever had.
It was scrupulously clean, beautiful linens and towels, everything we needed was there for our comfort. The views of the river and hills were divine and off street parking was a big plus.
It was a short 5 minute stroll to the centre of town and 2 minutes to Booths supermarket.
We used the house as a base for day trips to The Lakes, Morecombe Bay, Hadrians Wall , York and of course the Dales and villages in the area. The owners live nearby and were always available to help us with directions and walks. The house was lovely to come home to after a day’s adventuring. Plenty of hot water and great Wifi to send our photos off to family and friends.
I highly recommend this lovely home away from home and please treat it with respect so that we and others can return and enjoy it in the future.

  4. We enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable home, plenty of space for a family with two teenagers (& the WiFi was popular!). The owner was really helpful & friendly. The location is great for visiting this beautiful area & Settle itself is lovely & only a short walk away.

  5. We have had a very enjoyable stay in this house. As said before, it is perfectly situated for all amenities, there is also a public swimming pool just across the bridge with lovely warm water. The owner gave us lots of advice on where to go etc and was very helpful. The house is as photos with a nice outlook over the river. You can walk straight from the house up into the hills in various directions, with pretty villages close by.

  6. Cosy, clean and comfortable. What more could we ask? Didn’t ask but also got lovely views, great situation and very friendly and helpful owner.
