We have just returned to the flatlands of Cambridgeshire after a fabulous stay in your lovely house. When we arrived everything was spotless and welcoming, we particularly liked the coal fire and huge bed! A real home from home. The house is in such a great spot for walking and discovering this part of the Dales, there is still so much left to see and do, so we will no doubt be back in the future. Mark was so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Visits to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are very much to be recommended as well as the walk up Pen-y-ghent, even the weather was kind!

We have just had a wonderful family holiday in this lovely house. Mark and Debbie could not have been more helpful and accommodating in sorting out our holiday dates. Everything in the house was lovely and clean. And we had everything we needed. There is so much to do in and around Settle that we didn’t manage to do all the things we planned , there was something for all of us – lovely walks, plenty of shops and pubs, Watershed Mill just a few minutes walk, Settle to Carlisle Railway, two good parks for our Grandson and he loved feeding the ducks every morning after breakfast. We are all looking forward to staying again! Thank you.

This cottage is extremely comfortable and clean. It offers everything you need for your stay. It is convenient for travelling to the Dales, The Lake District and the coast. View are stunning but you are still close to all of the local amenities. This was our second visit and we intend coming again. The owners are very helpful and do all they can to make your stay a pleasant one.
A great cottage in a lovely location. It was lovely to have somewhere so comfortable to set out from and to return to each day. We love Settle and the surrounding areas. Walks available in this area are great and offer peace and tranquility. We had a sombre journey home after such a great week. To cheer ourselves up we booked for next year whilst driving back home to Kent!
Mark and Debbie couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you.

Back home yesterday after a wonderful week at Ribble Terrace. The cottage is really well built, very comfortable and has every convenience that you could wish for. The outlook, by the River Ribble is picturesque and one can spend plenty of time daydreaming out of the window and looking at passers by! This lovely house is also very convenient for Settle itself, as well as being in a quiet part of the town. Debbie & Mark were extremely helpful; nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely book again for next year, and we heartily recommend both the cottage and the area. Looking forward to it already!

Can highly recommend this cottage where we felt at home as soon as we opened the door. Comfortable, spacious and clean it was an ideal base for a week in the Dales. Great situation overlooking the river and ideal for walking into Settle and Giggleswick. Excellent pub/restaurants within 10 minutes walk as well as a very decent fish & chip shop. Good country walks virtually from the doorstep. Mark was a very thoughtful, helpful host. We will definitely pay a return visit.

just had the most wonderful holiday in this lovely house the best two weeks we have had house is clean and comfortable Debbie and mark cater for your every need without imposing have booked again for next year

Just back from a week at Ribble Terrace. It’s a lovely cottage, perfectly placed within easy walk of the centre, and right by the river. The most helpful owner I’ve ever met without being at all intrusive, and the cottage is spotlessly clean, warm, comfy – I actually can’t think of a problem with it! The river is just outside the front, with a wall so it’s safe for children. Our granddaughter loved the ducks. Would wholeheartedly recommend it.

We stayed at Ribble Terrace for the second time and were as pleased with the accommodation, friendliness of the owners and ease of access to all that Settle and its surroundings offers, as our first visit last year. All of our party enjoyed the comfort and homeliness that the cottage offers. We would have no hesitation in recommending it to others and will certainly return.
We thouroughly enjoyed our stay, very homely, warm welcoming, and beautifully clean. Everything we needed was provided, the towels and bed-linen are particularly luxurious. The cottage is very close to the centre of Settle, where supermarkets, pubs, tea shops abound. All very friendly, plently of good walks, and fabulous countryside on the doorstep, Can’t wait to go back !

We had a great stay at 5 Ribble Terrace recently. The property is spotless, well-maintained and decorated to a high standard and the owner Mark was extremely helpful, down to preparing a fire and leaving some milk in the fridge. For tea-bellies like us, this was a clincher. The location is ideal as the shops, tea-bars, pubs (had fab meal in The Lion) and even the swimming pool are all within easy walking distance. There is a lovely view of the river from the front and space for 2 cars at the back. Bed-linen and towels v luxurious. Would not hesitate to recommend. We had 3 very-hard-to-please teenagers with us and even they loved it!

1st of all ,must agreethat the deatils supplied on the website for this cottage are absolutely correct ! We have just spent a week at Ribble Terrace with my elderly parents , probably the first time they have left their home /comfort zone in around 8 years – it had to be right. We were not disappointed- when you walk through the door ,you don’t just enter a holiday cottage , you enter a lovingly prepared home , with all the comforts you could wish for. A gorgeous fire set and ready to put a match to , fresh milk in the fridge , tea coffee, a refreshing jump start after a journey and before popping out to nearby Booths , a Co-op , or a Spar to stock up.Clearly Mark , Debbie and their little girl Hannah have put a lot of work and thought into this property- bedlinen, towels etc. Mark is so available throughout the stay, making sure that everything is well. The location is lovely , as is the river Ribble and superb double glazing means you do not hear a thing day or night.Plenty to enjoy in Settle itself- shops , market ,cafes. We are already consulting the calender for a return visit- could ‘Settle ‘ there any time .
Thankyou again, M, D and H .Gordon and Hazel McNinch.

Really enjoyed our week at this delightful comfortable house set in an ideal location.
Mark was very helpful and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and were entertained by the numerous small birds outside the lounge window. Good to be so near Booths supermarket, we also enjoyed Poppys tea shop in the town and the market on Tuesday. Look forward to returning in future and will take the Carlisle /Settle rail trip next time.

We have just returned from a very comfortable weeks stay at 5 Ribbledale, the accommodation is of a high standard the attentiveness and assistance from Mark was great, even if the weather was not the best,. I would have no hesitation to recommend the cottage and when we are next in the area will look at staying again. All the best for the future
