  1. This was our 9th stay at 5 Ribble Terrace and, as always, has provided us with a superb base for exploring the Dales. In all our visits here we have found the house is always cosy, comfortable and very clean and has everything we require for our stay. Bedrooms are bright and the beds are so comfortable we always have a good night’s sleep. The house is central for Settle itself and an easy drive away for walks and sites of interest in the Yorkshire Dales. Whenever we have had questions or needs we have found Mark to be a wonderful, accommodating host. John Hargan

  2. Once again we had a wonderful stay at 5 Ribble Terrace. The property is always spotlessly clean and cosy especially with the coal fire at this time of year. First time we had been in December (delayed because of covid) and we had the added joy of snow on the fell tops. Mark is the perfect host and even provided a Christmas tree with lights to greet us on our arrival. Did some good walks and only got wet once! Have already booked again for next year.

  3. Mark is an excellent host. The house was lovely and clean with all basic amenities provided. We used it as a base to complete the Yorkshire 3 peak challenge and back to the cottage with weary legs. Settle is great for a selection of places to eat and drink. Particularly like Bar 13 with microbrews.

  4. Just back from another excellent week at 5 Ribble Terrace. This time we had the family stay for the bank holiday weekend so all 3 bedrooms were used. Mark was an excellent host, as usual, dealing with any issues very quickly. We will be back.

  5. Our family of 4 spent a very enjoyable week in Settle and 5 Ribble Terrace. Mark. who lives nearby, is an excellent host. He genuinely wants to help his guests enjoy their week. He doesn’t intrude, but if you need help (eg one of us went for a hike with the door key) he’ll respond quickly and without fuss. We would happily return!

  6. Returned home from 5 Ribble Terrace a few days ago. We had a lovely time in Settle and really enjoyed staying at 5 Ribble Terrace, a lovely home perfect for my wife and I and our young children, safe clean and full of character. We hope to stay again in the not too far distant future. Mark and Debbie were really helpful, providing us with local information and available for any questions. Also the complimentary biscuits and pint of milk on arrival was much appreciated.
    Thanks again,
    Joe, Miri and the kids.
