  1. We had a long weekend over August bank holiday with a group of friends and family in other cottages nearby. 5 Ribble Terrace is ideally located with lovely views of the Ribble at the front and parking to the rear. We only took the car out once or twice as all amenities were in easy walking distance. We started longer hikes from the door. We have booked again for 2022.

  2. WHO NEEDS ABROAD?
In these uncertain times, it reassuring to know that some things never change. I refer, of course, to Settle and this lovely holiday home where we have just spent our 7th visit. Mark and Debbie are terrific hosts and good neighbours for whom nothing is too much trouble and it is wonderful to find a “home from home” in a different part of the country. There is so much to do and see that one is spoilt for choice. Richard Cadbury (the chocolate man!) referred to his home as “a little paradise of comfort”. That is what you will get if you come here.
    SO – WHO NEEDS ABROAD??

  3. We spent a week at Marks house in June. It was perfect for us and our friends.
The house is lovely and in a beautiful part of Settle. An ideal base for sightseeing and relaxing too. Settle has everything you need for a great stay.
Mark was the perfect host and made our stay special, offering ideas for places to go, as well as assisting us when one of our motorbikes broke down, I can’t thank him enough for all his help.
I would definitely return without hesitation. Highly recommend.
