  1. This was our eleventh stay at 5 Ribble terrace and as always we found it home from home, comfortable with good facilities. Mark is an excellent host who is always helpful in making our stay enjoyable. Settle is a lovely town with excellent rail links; there is a good range of places to eat and it is in an ideal situation for exploring the Dales. We are looking forward to staying next year.

  2. Such a lovely home in a fantastic location. The owner (Mark) treasures this place and is a pleasure to know. Couldn’t be more helpful. Top marks from me.

Another great week at Ribble Terrace. As always, spotlessly clean and warm. Loved the alteration to the kitchen, opens up a lovely space to socialise with a glass of wine whilst preparing the evening meal. Mark is available if ever the need should arise and we always enjoy having a friendly chat with him. Lots of excellent walks from the door as well as many other places to discover further afield. It really is the perfect spot for discovering this part of the Dales. We love it here and have already booked again for next year.

  4. Stayed here for two weeks, an absolutely lovely house with everything you need when away from home. Very spacious and full of character. The host Mark was very welcoming and always available should I need anything. Already booked to come stay again. Thank you. 😊

  5. We had a really wonderful week. The cottage was very cosy and spotlessly clean. Especially the fireplace guaranteed several enjoyable evenings. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was modern and well equipped.
Mark and Debbie were very welcoming and took their time to chat with us. Mark called round the first evening to check everything was fine. In the end we even understood almost everything. Mark is always on hand if need be and had some great recommendation of several interesting landmarks.
The cottage is ideal for exploring the surrounding national parks and AONBs but there are many beautiful walks right from the cottage as well.
We are looking forward to stay here again.

Thank you very much for our wonderful stay.
    Bernhard, Ingrid, Gisela and Manfred
