  1. This is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The owners Mark and Debbie met us on arrival, gave us a quick tour, answered all our questions about the area and they even left us milk in the fridge for a cuppa which was lovely of them. The cottage was so lovely and spacious it had everything you could think of to make it home from home. We will definitely be back in the future

  2. We have just had another lovely family holiday in what feels like our home from home! We had an extra little person this time, our 14 month old Granddaughter Elise. She was well catered for with your lovely cot and high chair. She was made to feel welcome just as we are, always! Thanks Mark, Debbie and Hannah. We followed the Settle Treasure Hunt this year with our 9 year old Grandson Ewan and it was great. He also went up his third peak with his Granddad. The park at Giggleswick is another of our favourite places to visit. Food at The Talbot was very nice and the children were welcomed there too. We are already looking forward to next year.

  3. Just had our 5th visit to 5 Ribble Terrace. Thoroughly enjoyed as always. Warm and comfortable it feels like home .Mark is a very welcoming host ,nothing is too much trouble . We are already looking forward to our next visit .

  4. We have just spent another great week at 5 Ribble Terrace our second visit this year. The house is very comfortable and ideally situated. Mark makes us so welcome. We went to see the Hoffman Kiln that he recommended and it was really interesting.
We walked every day even in the showers. We walked up to Stainforth Force where we saw the salmon jumping which was a wonderful sight. We had a meal in the Knights Table which was really good as usual. We like to eat at Ruchees Indian and The Talbot Arms both of which are good.
We will be back again as we love a Settle and the pace of life there.

  5. Had a lovely week in settle.
The cottage is spacious but cosy at the same time. Very clean and everything you need.
Very comfortable beds which is a must when on holiday.
    No complaints and would recommend

  6. A lovely relaxing week in a cosy yet spacious cottage right next to the river Ribble.
We enjoyed tootling into the town centre to have breakfast at the naked man cafe and looking for all the flowerpot figures.
After relaxing in the afternoon we dined out at Rushees or the Fisherman chippy in settle. We also had a few nice meals in Giggleswick at the Hartshead. I would recommend the gammon.
The bathroom is ideal for me with my mobility problems and the kitchen is small but we’ll equipped.
All in all a lovely stay. We will be back in the future but not next year as we are already booked.
It was a lovely touch to be met by the owner who had provided tea coffee and milk so we could have a cuppa on arrival.
